Vice President, Human Resources

General Requirements:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources will be a strategic business partner capable of performing a wide variety of human resources functions. The successful candidate for this position must have a strong bias toward emphasizing integrity and ethics while adding value to the attainment of the company's short and long term business objectives and strategies. Must have a demonstrated track record as a key partner in optimizing these processes and behaviors across functional organizations in an international environment.

• Business knowledge required (Semiconductor desired).
• International experience required (Mandarin language a strong plus).
  
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time (frequent trip to Asia).
  
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years professional experience in a high technology environment. Must have hands-on technical understanding of HR: compensation, benefits, recruiting, training and development. Proficient understanding and practical application of employment law.

Senior Hardware Application Engineer

• Support customers in developing TV systems
• Assist in debugging customer's hardware system, adjust and tune display quality
• Develop algorithm related to the picture quality
• MSCS/MSEE with 2 years of experience or BSCS/BSEE with 5 years of experience in system development
• Familiar with C, C++ programming and computer system architecture
• Strong in Linux
• Knowledge of graphics/TV chipset design a plus.

Senior Software Application Engineer

• Develop application software for TV chipset
• Support customer in developing and debugging software for TV systems
• Develop internal and external tools
• MSCS/MSEE with 3 years of experience or BSCS/BSEE with 5 years of experience
• Familiar with C, C++ programming and assembly codes
• Experience with computer system architecture and Linux

CAD Manager

• Responsible to maintain and develop CAD flow for 0.13um, 0.09um and more advanced process, support IC design and VLSI tape-out activities.
• Keep workstation network and CAD system stable, secured, and efficient to support engineering works.
• Act as a liasion to communicate with overseas design teams to complete projects.
• Interface with EDA vendors to introduce new tools to facilitate design and test jobs.
• MSEE/CS with minimum 10 years of experience in EDA/IC design environment.
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux system and network.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of broad spectrum of CAD tools including Synopsys DC, PrimeTime, Cadence NCverilog, EC, OPUS, SOC and Mentor Calibre & Fastscan.

Senior Analog Design Engineer

• Responsible to characterize the existing analog block, evaluate analog IPs, design analog circuit for the new projects, and resolve circuit related product issues.
• MSEE plus 5-10 years of hands-on design experience in ADC/DAC, PLL and other mixed-mode circuits.
• Strong in communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Senior Design Manager/Director

• Responsible to lead mixed-mode IC circuit design team; provide technical guidance to design engineers; manage mixed-mode IC project from planning, implementation to final sign off; debug and characterize chip design and ensure volume production in time.
• MSEE or PhD in microelectronics with minimum 10 years’ analog circuit design and management experience.
• ADC, PLL and Serdes design experience is highly desirable.
• Must have good understanding of CMOS process technology.
• Very familiar with deep sub-micron VLSI methodology.

Field Applications Engineering Manager

• Responsible for managing technical support for Trident's advanced television customers in Singapore, Europe, and North America.
• Strong System-level video applications expertise - ability to debug both hardware and firmware issues related to video decoding, processing, and display for digital television systems.
• 15 years of design, applications, or field applications engineering experience in video or graphics processors.
• 3 years of recent experience in applications or field applications engineering in video processors for consumer electronics systems. Significant experience with MPEG2 video decoders is a plus.
• 3 years of experience managing a team of applications or field applications engineers.
  Must be able to manage senior Field Applications Engineers as well as perform direct technical support in critical situations.
• Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time.
• BSEE/CS is required.
